Cabaret

It’s Show-Time!

The Cotton Clubbers Cabaret is a 1930’s style cabaret; an evening’s of entertainment return to the days when vaudeville came to town.

The lights are low, the liquor is flowing, the atmosphere buzzes, the performers shine and the audience are whisked away into a world of tap dancers, flappers, jugglers, poetry and piano recitals, comedians, mime artists and lindy hoppers. After the show, the energy moves from the stage to the dance floor, driven by the sounds from resident DJs.

Performance Course and Cabaret January – February 2005
Following a 7 week performance course, students and tutors together took to the stage to recreate the magic of vaudeville. Lennart Westerlund and Fatima Teffahi (from the Harlem Hot Shots acclaimed jazz dance company) who are leaders in the art of jazz and swing dance; Stanley Andrew musician and producer who has worked with the likes of Sting and Aswad were among the top professionals who taught on the course and appeared on stage.
